According to Rael's compilation book Intelligent Design, the Elohim 'home' planet is inhabited by a constant 7 billion mortal Elohim (p. 107). Of these ''only 40 million are children. It is only when they become of age - between eighteen and twenty-one years, depending on the individual - that the children undergo the operation, which gives them a life span of more than 750 years. From then on, they too may have children. This enables the oldest of our non-eternal inhabitants to know their descendants for up to fifty generations'' (p. 111, emphasis added).
Reportedly, the Elohim have had life-extension and cloning technology for about 25,000 years (p. 113).
Yahweh allegedly reports that the Elohim follow a simple rule to keep the population stable: "two parents two children" (p. 107). But this means every Eloha has to procreate! If they don't, the population will shrink! Let me repeat that. Every mortal Elohim must produce a replacement offspring! Talk about strict laws.

What's more, there should be the same number of Elohim in every age group in a stabilized population. This means, if the population is 7 billion and each Eloha lives to about 771 years (750 + 21)... there should be about 9 million Elohim in every age group. Which also means that roughly 9 million Elohim will have to be born to replace those who have died in a particular year.
BUT, if there are only 40 million children and are defined as those who are less than 21 years old, then there should be only about 2 million Elohim children in each age group. Which also means only 2 million are born each year! At that rate, the Elohim population will have shrunk and stabilized at about only 1.5 billion inhabitants!!
If there are 2 million mortal Elohim in every age group of a population of 7 billion, then the average life span should be 3,500 years old. Too bad, the Elohim can't extend biological life to more than 1,200 years (it is claimed that they have the "surgical" technology of life extension that enables them to live 10 times longer than without the surgical adjustment; p. 107)
To have a global population stabilized at 7 billion with individual life spans of 750 plus years and having children defined as being under 21 years old, the total number of Elohim children should be about 180 million children (9 million x 20), and not 40 million.

Now, there is another contradictory information about the Elohim's demographics. According to Rael, "Everybody on [the Elohim's] planet has a cell sample taken at a certain age, hoping that they will be chosen for re-creation after their death. In fact they not only hope for it, they try to earn this resurrection during their life. Once they have died, a grand council of the eternals assembles to decide in a “last judgement”, who among those who died during the year deserves to live another life. For a period of three lifetimes, the eternal is on probation, and at the end of this time, the council of the eternals reconvenes to judge who, in the light of their work, deserves to join the council of the eternals as a perpetual member." (p. 109, emphasis added)
He adds, "Of the seven billion inhabitants, there are only 700 eternals, and they live entirely apart from the others. They have the privilege of being eternals but with this goes the duty of doing everything for the others who are not obliged to work. To these 700 eternals, we must add 210 probationers (about seventy each year, that is to say, ten from each province)." (pp. 110-111, emphasis added)
If 70 new probationers are taken in each year and it takes 3 lifetimes (3 x 750), i.e. 2,250 years for the "eternal" selection process to select new eternals, then we would have 70 x 2250 = 157,500 probationers at any one time, and NOT 210 as Rael erroneously calculates. Suddenly, Raelian Heaven seems much more crowded than reported. Speaking of the Planet of Eternal Life, check out: and Raelian Eternal Problem.

Turns out Rael has quite unintelligently designed his story.
